Revere receives USCG liferaft approvals
July 15, 2016
Revere Survival Inc is pleased to announce they have received USCG approvals for their entire range of SOLAS liferafts. This is a significant step in Revere’s development into the commercial market.
Revere has been manufacturing and selling liferafts since 1936 and is a trusted brand in the US market. As a team, they have worked tirelessly for the last 18 months to gain these vitally important USCG approvals. The range of Revere USCG approved liferafts includes throw-over and davit-launched models, which are available in a variety of sizes from 4 to 25 persons. A space and weight saving low profile version is also available and all rafts come complete with SOLAS A or SOLAS B equipment packs.
Thierry Bouzac, Executive Chairman of 3Si Group comments: “The introduction of these commercial USCG liferafts into Revere’s existing safety range will alter the profile of Revere within the American market and possibly the dynamics of the US commercial raft market as a whole. This is a significant milestone towards the future growth of Revere.”
Revere’s VP of Sales, Kini Bowers, comments; “It is great to be back in the commercial liferaft market and the Revere USCG approved rafts are a great addition to our current liferaft ranges. We can now offer our customers a wide range of safety and survival products and I look forward to working with our customers and partners to provide an unrivalled customer service.” Bowers goes on to comment, “This new Revere range offers exciting opportunities for new and existing dealers.”
Revere occupies a large sophisticated operations facility in Jacksonville Florida and is considered to be one of the leading suppliers in the US safety market.
